Culebra weather can be accessed via website www.wunderground.com, input the zip code 00775 and you can access local radar, general forecast, and National Weather Service link.

20% means little chance of rain, 50% means good chance. Passing very short showers can be common, it is raining very infrequently, February is one of the driest months of the year but rain can always occur if favorable conditions build. Sorry, it is true what they say that you cannot always predict the weather.

In the last few days it has been sunny about 100% of the time the sun is out. Today so far we had a rain shower that lasted about 15 minutes and it is partly cloudy/sunny.

The particular thing with the weather sites is that they include a large area. Culebra is a pretty small Island that attracts very little convection activity. You may see dark clouds looming above St. Thomas and they pass by without releasing a single drop.

Stop looking at the weather and just wait until you get there. I did the same thing as you, and saw only rain forecasts. Spent two days in San Juan and 5 days on Culebra.....very little rain, about 85 degrees all the time.

If you look closely at the reporting station, you'll notice that it is Roosevelt Roads which is near Fajardo. Because of ocean currents, most of RR's weather passes north of Culebra. It takes an untypical weather front to get any sustained rain on the island. Such a weather pattern occurred last November, and when I visited over the holidays it had caused the greenest vegetation I have ever seen. But talking with locals and my own observations from 7 prior visits convinces me of the rarity of this pattern. Hope this helps.
