Hi,
Curious..what is the cost of a case of beer on the island and what about a bottle of wine? wondering if I should bring my own vodka ...what is the cost for that as well.
Where is the best place to purchase all three.

i can't see bringing your own as worthwhile. we mostly got beer and wine from comalda milka. i liked that grocery in general best. the prices for food were good. the prices for wine and liquor and beer were not too much different than NY liquor stores. the wine was a bit more, but i didn't have a problem paying it. i think it would be more of a pain to bring your own than to just buy it there.

I'd skip the vodka and switch to rum if cost is an issue...easiest is either the liquor store by the ferry, el Eden across from Milka or even after hours at Happy Landings.

I'm suddenly reminded of that old "Kids in the Hall" sketch - Girl-Drink Drunk.

but yes I second that it's a bit but not insanely more expensive than here (DC)

Thanks for the reply...wasn't planning on bringing beer and wine just curious what to expect. From what I gather from other posts on another forum it really isn't that much more expensive than in the states and certainly would prefer to give the business to culebra.
