my boyfriend and I are planning to come back in Feb and we're thinking of renting a scooter instead of a jeep for our stay. i think it's better from an emissions, gas, and financial perspective but i'm worried about how difficult it would be to find a hospital or doctor in case we got into an accident. we rented a scooter for a couple of days after using bikes, and we were fine getting around, so maybe i'm just being paranoid. neither of us are the hard partying types so i'm not worried about us getting boozy and driving into a ditch, just getting hit by someone who's had one too many mojitos... thoughts? which i guess brings up a broader question of who the hell do you contact for an emergency? is there an 24 hour number?
