We are planning on taking a taxi (Padin) from San Juan to Fajardo on Sunday, April 17, and taking the 3pm ferry.
Suggestions? My hope is that not as many people will be trying to go TO Cu

Yes you can do that. You can call Padin at 787-447-4943 He can pick you up at the ferry dock in fajardo, and drive you to the airport.

Mort's right about the flight's, though you still have to get a cab between the two airports which will cost you another $15. I use a great car service called Padin, they charge $60 Airport to Ferry

you can check out "travel with padin" on this site under transport. the cost of a taxi is going to run about $65.00. maybe you should consider renting a car one-way. you can try L & M or THRIFTY. BOTH

We highly recommend contacting Ilca at Travel with Padin (787) 644-3091. Around $65 + tip. They have always been on time - even waited when our flight was really late. Good luck.
