There is no ferry service between Culebra and Vieques. You have to go back to Fajardo from Culebra, and then catch a separate ferry from Fajardo to Vieques.

You are correct about holidays and weekends. But you shouldn't have much problem if you leave on an earlier ferry on Friday. Your Tuesday return shouldn't be any problem at all.
