Thank you for the reply.
Just realized that I need to wear glasses otherwise cannot see far and blurred. Googled a bit and found little about the snorkeling with glasses. What should I do? I can

Stick to snorkeling - you will have an amazing experience and not be stressed to 'make it back in time'. Great snorkeling right off Flamceo, or walk across to Carlos Rosario (from Flamenco)

Is there any good, safe cliff diving on the island?

I recommend the Luis Peña Channel - walk to Carlos Rosario, get in the water and make your way East. The current can be quite strong.

I believe there is a long wall along Playa Larga. It appears that way from up on the hill but I have not been out to it. To get there go to Zoni beach and go East around the point. Larga runs for a

Hi, are there dive ops operating on culebra? Please send the links if so.
I am thinking of trying to do some diving over thanksgiving holidays next week.
Thanks

We dive with Taz with Aquatic Adventures. He leaves at 9, I think. You dive, do your surface time, eat lunch and then dive again. He does take you to Culebrita for day or half day trips, if you want.

I think trying for both may be too much. You will be running and rushing the whole day. The Culebrita trip is usually something like head over around 8:00 or 9:00am and then get picked back up aroun

It can be done. Both dive operators are usually back by 2pm. I wouldn't count on 1pm. You should be sure whoever is taking you to Culebrita is wiling to wait for you in case you run later than 2pm

I'm going to be in Culebra for a day and a half this coming weekend. I really want to do some scuba diving - I've heard Cayo Raton is amazing - but I was also really hoping to make it out to Culebrita

Mini Mas is next to Susie's restaurant past Milka's grocery store near the defunct Gulf Station. You can also rent tanks from Culebra Divers right at the ferry dock.

No restrictions on shore diving.
Rent tanks from Mini-Mas hardware store. Jorge will accommodate you after you show your diving certification.

I will be in Culebra the first week of February and was considering bringing along my BC and Reg. Last time in CulebraI spent about 8 hours a day on the surface and thought it would be nice to get so

We see tons of lobster while diving, but all are in protected waters.

I have read that the Puerto Rico spiny lobster season is year-round. Is there anywhere around Culebra that is not protected that you can free-dive to catch your own lobster dinner?

You will have to check. Have dove with both, but not sure if either do a "resort" type dive. We prefer Taz with Aquatic Adventures.

Not sure what you mean by "resort dive" but either of the companies you mentioned should be fine, be sure to call and request a dive for beginners. Have fun!

For a beginning, resort dive, which company (Aquatic Adventures or Dive Culebra) would you recommend?

Can anyone tell me their favorite dive sites....for novice to intermediate divers.
GPS co-ordinates would be great if possible. Also do any of them have mooring balls?
