Does anybody know if theft is likely to happen while camping? Say that you are camping at Flamenco and then leave your stuff unattended to go to Carlos Rosario. Is it likely that you'll find all your stuff when you return?

It may happen, and everywhere else too.
P.R. is not different ffrom any other country or state, we have thieves too.

Enrique,

We had the same concerns. If you have small luggage or backpacks check out these.

I just bought one & I think it will serve it's purpose.

Good Luck!

Hi,
In a few weeks I'll also be coming to Culebra to camp for several days. I'm concerned about the safety of travel documents, money, etc, even when we're going for a swim (just 2 of us). What precautions can I take, and what is recomended when camping? From reading this forum, I get the picture that it's very safe overall, but coming from NYC, its a little hard to just take it at that. How about the rental bikes or scooters - does anyone know if the rental places include locks?
Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
