I just want to tell you what a great time my wife and I had last week in Culebra. Our vacation started with a simple E-mail I recieved for a special round trip ticket from NY to Puerto Rico. From there we took the New and Clean ferry and were amazed to see how nice the construction turned out in Dewey. We then walked to The Posada La Hamaca and were greeted by Ginny. Our room was very clean and turned out to be a nice place to stay. This was a nice place to stay and Ginny and the owner were very nice.
We took local transportation (Willy) to the beach and walked to the Dingy Dock and Mamacitas for a great breakfast. Lunch we had at the beach from those very friendly women selling food. For dinner Willy (public bus) had informed us of a place up on the mountain that was having a grand openning so Willy asked us if we waited to go with him and his wife to have dinner. Along with his wife and another couple we ate at the Shipwreck Bar and Grill at Bahia Marina (I think that was the name). The service and the food was very good so we went back the next day for dinner again. They friendly people and they made us feel welcomed.
Our stay at Culebra was outstanding!!! The place was clean, the people were friendly and the price was right and we can't wait to come back.
I read earlier of some people complaining of the slow service there. I can see what they mean if you are used to begin served in the states. But you must understand Culebra is not the place to visit if you are in a hurry. Culebra is a place to take it easy and relax and forget about beging in a rush.

Culebra, and all the people we dealt with, THANKS FOR A GREAT GET AWAY!!!

I know your expressions will be kindly appreciated by all the people in Culebra, mostly by the ones that were in direct contact with you.
