Casa Ensenda, Villa Fulladosa, Villa Boheme
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Can anyone tell me am I missing anything reasonable priced, in easy walking distance to restaurants/on the taxi route.
Looking for quiet, 100$ a night or less and easy access to food, and docks.
kitchenette and a hammock are perks :)
Read comments on these on the forum, any input on how to choose is helpful.
Seems like you get more for your $ at ensenda, but some folks are complaining of noise, etc. Villa Boheme seems ideal but 30$ more a night.
Does Fulladosa have a cooler, beach chairs, etc for guest use? There website isn't terribly informative, can anyone tell me about them first hand?
I would like to stay outside town but don't want to have to rent a car for the whole trip. Planning to see the island mostly by boat. Thanks again.

Casa Ensendada and Villa Boheme are both in town and restaurants, ferry and taxi route are easily accesible. I've stayed at both places and had no problems with noise. I imagine the same is true for Villa Fulladoza. All 3 places are on Ensenada Bay. I will say that the water taxi to Culebrita picked me up right at the dock at Casa Ensenada, I am not sure if the other two places have docks. When are you going? I would make reservations ASAP.

I've been staying at the Villa Fulladoza for the past 7 years. It's quiet, has a dock and many items to borrow for the beach. It is easy to walk into town and to catch the publicos to the beaches. Say Hello to Myrna for me.

Hey Michael,

I am planning a trip for January and considering booking a room at Fulladosa. Do you think it's worth it to rent a car or can we pretty much get a publico to and from most of the beaches?

Thanks so much!

Jessica, I don't know where Fulladosa is (but I once stayed in Fullacrappa, heh heh).

As long as it's close to town, you can get publicos easily and cheaply in town. If not in town, you'll have to call them. And they can be kind of expensive if you go to places other than the airport or Flamenco.

Jessica, you will not need a car staying at Fulladosa!

Mort and Michael,

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the help.

I can't wait to get to Culebra. I dream about it every day. :)

Anyother favorite spots we should hit?
