I am also interested in finding out prices for camping equimpent, any ideas anyone???

We'll be there June 19-21 and still haven't decided where to stay. Might end up just finding a place when we get there, since it's mid-week, I figured there would be SOMETHING available...

any info would be most helpful.... :)

I had a great time. I was only there 3 nights but it was a good 3 nights.

I didn't camp. I actually stayed at Villa Boheme the first night. This place was very nice and clean.

I stayed at Culebra Island Villas my last two nights. I like this place a lot, Flamenco beach was steps away from our Villa. It was great, we got a studio. We were able to cook, or not.

There were taxi's close to the ferry. A cab from the ferry to the Villas was $3per person.

We ate at Dinghy Dock and Mamacitas. They were both pretty good. I was a lil freaked out at Dinghy Dock with the bats flying right next to our table and all but. But the atmosphere there was very nice in both places.

The ferry ride wasnt bad either.

I plan to return with my family. It was a nice place to go with a group of friends or/and family.

Vivian, you probably mean 'Culebra Beach Villas' - right?

Enjoy Culebra!

Isn't there a Wal-Mart or something in Fajardo. Maybe someone could price out some basic equipment and post it.

Vivian,

Thanks for the post. Just a comment re: the presence of bats. They may be a little spooky, but bats eat thousands of mosquitos a night, so they're great creatures to have around.
