What are the chances of spotting a turtle or two on the beaches in November? Or is it just the wrong season? Also, which beach is the best for off-shore snorkeling. thanks.

Here's a web site for CORALations. They have quite a bit of information. http://www.coralations.org/turtles/index.htm

Personally, I loved snorkeling at Carlos Rosario beach and in the bay near Culebrita.

A few years ago we found fresh turtle egg laying sites each morning when we went to the beach (secluded and quite a hike). The site was awesome.

Brad,
What time of year did you see the turtle egg sites?

chances are very good... mostly on zoni beach... i just got back from 6 days... u can easily visit more than one beach a day as many are easily accessible.. but i did visit zoni 3 times... and each time i saw green turtles sometimes as many as 7-8 swimming offshore and easily within site... i was told feb thru may are the nesting season and they are even more visible...
enjoy..
