Villa Fullodoza
Culebra, Puerto Rico
Author: Valerie (---.dia.cust.qwest.net)

I am about to book a room for three nights at the end of May and I am narrowing down the choices. I have narrowedit down to two places, and was wondering more about them.

1. Villa Fullodoza
2. Culebra Ocean View

I am budget-minded, but I have read that Villa Fullodoza does not have A/C which concerns me, haha.

Any other nice places to stay for under $100/night?

Anyone stay at Culebra Ocean View in room #10? Or any of the other rooms?

Thanks for any advice!

Have you seen Fulladosa ? its view is fantastic, just before to Fulladoza is Villa Boheme, same prices, but A/C, and their location is perfect.
Check on them, you will not be sorry.

I've stayed at Villa Fulladoza about 4 times many years back. I am trying it again this April. Very comfortable place. What was great was the same people came the same week every year and you got to know them. Since there are only a few rooms, it may be difficult to get in, especially since the regulars used to return year after year. Don't know if thats still the case. You can easily walk to town from here.We plan on taking the publico to Flamenco and only renting a car for a few days. Not recommended to swim in the water it is located on. We got great airfare from Newark to SJU----159.50 rt inc tax!!!! JUst got an email from cheapcaribbean.com mentioning a special air and holel in Culebra from $399pp staying at Costa Bonita Resort Villas. This place may be new. Never saw it before. Looks huge like it doesn't belong on quaint Culebra. Good luck!

We are heading down in 4 days and almost ended up at Costa Bonita. We did not get a warm, fuzzy feeling about the place based on my reservation experience, so we ended up cancelling it. We are going to stay at Palmetto Guest House instead. Rosarito, the lady who I spoke with at P.G. was very nice and you get the feeling that you would get a more personal touch to your stay than at C.B.

Saludos,

The Pequeno unit at CASA ENSENADA WATERFRONT GUESTHOUSE is $95.00 a night including tax.

It is right on the Ensenada Honda and in town. We have air conditioning, sat. TV, kitchenette, free double kayak and much more.

See the Casa Ensenada website as suggested by Deborah Hernandez, by clicking on Shelter on this website then on Casa Ensenada.

Hope to hear from you.

No, Villa Fulladosa dos not has A/C, and anything you hear about the easterly winds caressing your dreams, is only that... a dream.
Puerto Rico is hot, during wintertime you may experience a nice frech air, but A/C is a must when you are out of home. Keeps away the noises too.

Hey Valerie,
I'm also currently debating between Fulladoza and Villa Boheme, although I am pretty sure I'll go with Fulladoza. Guzman said the same thing to me, but Boheme is about $95/nt plus 9% tax and Fulladoza is about $65 + tax. I think the only major difference is the AC.

Have a good trip! I'm going in April so I'll try to post somewhere on here how my trip went.

Julie
