We are interested in visiting Culebra and Vieques between Jan. 31 and Feb. 7. We are looking for beachfront accommodations with snorkeling, etc for our family of seven adults (grandmother, mom and dad and four children ages 15 to 21.
Please favor us with your replies including rates and web site info.
Thank you

Hello, I have found that this website is the most informative website for accomodations on Culebra Island. Also, if you have any questions, just call the location and ask. The people are always eager to provide additional information. I, also, will be traveling to Culebra Island in Feb 2006 for a couple of days. I chose my accomodations based on the listings on this website, titled, SHELTER. I will be staying at the Culebra Beach Villas. From the information provided and the information gathered it is beachfront. If the location does not provide on site snorkeling, you can always ask the locals and rent the equipment if necessary. Hope this helps. Also, you should make reservations sooner than later, as this is peak time for Puerto Rico and the neighboring islands......

I have stayed at Culebra Beach Villas which is a good bargain for large families. There are no amenities but when you wake up to Flamenco Beach every morning you're not going to care. The only thing I didn't like about staying their was the brutal condition of the road that leads to CBV. You are literally forced to go no faster than 5 MPH because of the gaping holes on the road. You should be able to snorkel right off the beach on the right hand side. If you are palanning on renting a car you will be bnetter off because the taxi cabs do not like going to CBV because of the condition of the road. There are villas also available throughout the island. If you are thinking of a villa I would highly recommend the villas near Zoni Beach one of the most underated beaches in Puerto Rico.
