I know this may sound stupid, but Culebra takes only U.S money right? Also would you say that stuff in Culebra is more or less expensive than in the states? Thanks for any help, I need it as you can tell, haha.

Yes on the U.S. Money.
Whether or not it's more expensive depends on where you live in the US. <vbg>

There is an ATM on the island but my experience has been that it is not always reliable. Sometimes you go and it's just empty for a few days. That sort of unreliablity is what I like about Culebra. Breaks me of that "instant gratification" thing.

Beer and wine seemed more expensive for sure. Food didn't seem overly expensive and lodging is reasonabe compared to other Carribean islands

The good news is that even very good rum is quite inexpensive ;>)

Things in general are more expensive (not much more) becuase it has to be shipped in. The two main restaurants that I visit are Mamacitas and the Dinghy Dock which are very good and reasonably priced.
