Hurrican Jeanne damage
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Some friends and I are traveling to Culebra toward the end of October. Does anyone know how bad was the damage from Hurricane Jeanne? We were going to stay at Culebra Beach Villas, but I got a call from them saying the villas were flooded and may not be ready when we arrive. It's making me a little nervous.

No damage that I can see. I did see the road to the villas was flooded, but that is it. Nothing to worry about on the rest of the island!

I would like to know whether the island was hit badly? My concerns are making reservations for first week of November.
Are the acommodations going to be less than before, and if soo, how badly.

the island was not hit hardly at all. It caused 21 inches of rain over a weeks time, which caused the little pond behind flamenco beach to become a big pond. That flooded the side road to flamenco villas. Other than that everything is normal on the rest of the island. In fact the island is super green and the weather is great.

can anyone tell me how do I get in touch with flamenoc beach rentasl. We are looking to camp there for 3 days at the new year, and so far the contact number we have is not working 787-742-2209. Our problem is that we do not want to arrive there and find out that we are not able to camp on the beach for reason or another, and at that time there would be no hotels so our little break would be ruined. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it
