Internet for locals
Culebra, Puerto Rico

I am wondering what is the most typical way that locals in Dewey will connect their home computer to the Internet? Is there a leading internet service provider on the island that delivers a wireline/cable connection, or is wireless the most-used option? Is there any competition between ISPs?

What about homes that are more remote and may be off the island's power/water "grid"? In that case, I assume wireless internet or satellite internet are the only options. Are US wireless carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint fully functional on Culebra? 3G only, maybe? 4G LTE?

Just looking for all possible options, names of providers, means of delivery, average download speeds, and cost.

Thank you!
