Hello, I would like to know how to get the 105$ rate for the R/T from San Juan to Culebra. On the website of Air Flamenco the passenger fare price is 115$. Which means 230$ per person for the round trip.
We are 2 people coming at the end of the month, april 30th to be exact and would love to go right away on the island to start our trip.

Is there anyone who can help us to figure this out? :D

Also, we would love to know where we can dance salsa! Weppa!! Is there people here who wants to have fun? Feel free to contact us!! :D

Thank you very much for your help!

There are three options to fly to Culebra on Flamenco Air.
1) The most convenient connection direct from SJU airport is also the most expensive. $230 r/t. or $115 each way.
2) Fly from Isla Grande Airport. This is the small local airport located near where cruise boats dock in San Juan. Depending on local traffic it takes aprox 20-30 minutes to get there from SJU. I believe it's a flat rate of $15 or $20 in a cab. $144 r/t or $72 each way.
3) Fly from Ceiba Airport. This airport is aprox an hour cab ride from SJU and costs aprox $80. $88 r/t or $44 each way.

If you are looking for night life, party, salsa dancing you may want to consider staying in San Juan on the main Island. There are no clubs, discos or night life to speak of on Culebra. They roll up the sidewalks by 10 or 11pm.

Actually, quite a bit of Music happens on Culebra.

Most Saturday nights a rumba band plays at the Dinghy Dock starting at 9 pm.
Also, there is typically some folk rock type music at Zaco's Tacos with some very good guitar work
and guest vocals from Monika, one of the restaurant owners. Also Amy Jo frequently sings and plays her own
songs at the Sandbar and occasionally happy hours at Dinghy Dock. Since many of these events are ad hoc, you
might want to dinghy into town and ask at the bars and retaurants.

Enjoy your visit!

Doug

Thank you for your reply!

As flying is out of my budget. Do you know if there is transportation by bus going to Fajardo from San Juan?

Thank you very much!

Yes,
I did check the transportation section, but I see nothing saying what bus to take from San Juan to reach Fajardo... Am I blind? :)
