Re: Eucalyptus?
Culebra, Puerto Rico

We noticed the incredible aroma of llamas while we were on Culebra in March. I couldn't find any llamas to sniff up close, but did find Acacia (Acacia macracantha) and a tropical milkweed (Calotropis procera) to be in bloom and very fragrant while we were there. Unlike the llamas (Lama bullfecalicus), we saw these plants all over the island. But llamas can be very reclusive, so I haven't ruled them out as the source of this wonderful aroma.
