Anyone want to hang out in Culebra over Memorial Day?

This is kind of ridiculous, I realize, but I’m in an interesting situation and thought, what the hell, people seem nice on this board, why not!

Basically I’ve been planning a long weekend in Culebra for a year or so now with my best friend, we were planning to camp on Flamenco and just do some snorkeling and reading and maybe a few beers in town here and there. Heartbreakingly, he can no longer join me on the trip which means I’m heading down there solo. Just can’t not go, you know? Got to.

So I’m getting in Thursday evening, the 24th, hopefully finding a camp spot (everyone tells me I don’t need reservations, so here goes nothing) and heading out Monday morning, the 28th.

If anyone wants to grab a beer or have a snorkeling partner, let me know! You can find me on Facebook, my name is Nate Kayhoe, just so you know I’m not a crazy :).

Hey Nate!

I would have gladly met you for a beer or two or three! Love meeting new people! Unfortunately I was there a month ago with my sister in law. Two crazy married chicks! We had such an amazing time! With that positive attitude you have you will meet people ! We came across many fun locals! And damn- drinks are so cheap in Culebra!!! I am glad you did not cancel! Too nice of a place to not visit! I was creeping on your FB- sweet working at the "White House"! Enjoy yourself! Don't forget your underwater camera for those awesome turtles /coral and fish!
I am planning on returning in the fall- that's how much I enjoyed our week in Culebra!!

Nate, I haven't had the chance yet to check out your Facebook profile; however, my daughter and I will be traveling to Culebra, arriving sometime on Sunday afternoon via Vieques Air. We might not have time to snorkel since you are leaving the morning of the 28th, however, if you'd like company to grab a beer Sunday evening, just send me an email and we can share details.

We'll be staying initially at Casa Ensenada and then at Casa Robinson. It is our first trip to this paradise!

Geez, me and my buddies were there 3 weeks ago and stayed at Casa Ensenada also we had a great time and knew good people also, specially on Karaoke thursday night at Dinghy Dock, we rented a jeep, well enjoy and hopefully you meet nice,great people on youe stay, ENJOY!!
