It just depends on whether you will have a place to cook your own food, or will eat all meals out. You will find that food in the groceries on the island are certainly higher, but you should be able to get all your staples, should you choose to cook in. You can get inexpensive food at the kioskos at Flamenco and it is local. Look under the food and drink tab above and to your left and this should give you some idea of what is available.
