Hola! It was in the news earlier this week that all activity at the Diego Jiménez Torres Fajardo airport has been transferred to the new airport in Ceiba, José Aponte de la Torre which was the old Roosevelt Roads Navy base airport. The article states that Vieques and Culebra residents and visitors will have to be patient with the new changes in jurisdiction but, the infrastructure in Ceiba is better because the facilities are bigger. Has anyone been able to fly out or into Ceiba yet? Happy travels! J
