Thanks Richard. That's what I was hoping to hear. I am bringing water shoes and Chaco sandals and beach trekkers (good soles, but holes on the sides). I saw a description on another blog where someone said you needed hiking boots to get to Resaca, but I don't want to lug hiking boots. I figured that was probably overkill.
