Re: Culebra Accommodations in March
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Really? I was actually in the process of during my research Debbie. That is why I am posting.

I'm sorry if Hillman is a long time member but he took a shot at me with the comprehension remark. I totally understand that Culebra cannot support the number of people Daytona can. Mort kindly informed me that Culebra was busy at the time of my visit by stating:

"The crowded times on Culebra pretty much match other "beachy" locations like Fort Lauderdale, Daytona, etc.: Holiday weekends, spring break, Easter, Thanksgiving, New Year's, etc."

I have been to both Daytona and Fort Lauderdale during spring break and it was a mad house. Maybe my question(response) wasn't clear, I simply wanted to know if it was crazy overcrowded like that. No rooms, people everywhere, etc...
If that was the case I was going to stay on the main island as you suggest. However palmettocalebra answered my question perfectly. The idea of crowded is way different in Puerto Rico. To share the beach with 10,20 heck 100 people is no prob, 1,000 people......not so much. I have never been to the Caribbean so I am sorry if my question was dumb but now I know.

The response was a little harsh and I did apologize for that. Do you believe Hillman's response to be nice?

"Do they not teach reading comprehension any longer up North?"

A little bit rude don't you think? I did not call Hillman any names at all I said it was an a-hole remark. Which I still believe to be true.

I am sorry for my snippy response and for not being more clear with my question. I simply needed a little more clarification not a sarcastic shot at me. I felt that Hillman did not comprehend my question and my comprehension skills were not at fault but his were.

After reading Morks post I can see he also thought I was asking if there will be that many people on Calebra (as in Daytona).

I apologize for my unclear question.

Brian
