Ferry or Plane?

Coming to Culebra to camp next week. Not too worried about a little rain, but the forecast calls for high winds and high surf--do you think the ferry or flying over is the best option?
Thanks for the advice!

I think it depends on how much you want to spend: $4.50 for round trip ferry vs $100 for round trip plane ticket. Today, Wednesday I heard that some ferry trips were canceled due to the rough sea weather, I don't know how next weeks weather will be like. Wait a couple of days, see the forcast then make a decision. Happy travels! J

If you have only two people, it's nearly the same price to fly as to take a taxi to Fajardo. And it's a lot easier and faster.

Another factor to consider is that more than a few people get seasick on the ferry even when the seas are moderate.
