Handicap accessibility
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Greetings!
I am trying to scratch up some info on wheelchair accessibility on the island. My husband and I spent our honeymoon on Culebra and fell in love with it (we will be returning for our anniversary in just a few weeks!), and noticed some places had ramps (maybe not ADA compliant but a much appreciated effort!!)- Mamacita's and Dinghy Dock come to mind.

So the real question is, looking to next winter- my dad is in a wheelchair, and my family likes to rent a big house and spend a week together over Christmas (or whatever week we can escape the frosty times up here in the Northeast.) Are there houses with around 4-5 bedrooms that are handicapped accessible, and are there any other restaurants or gift shops that we could get in and out of - we cook mostly on our own but sometimes you just can't beat a leisurely lunch by the water, watching those tarpon patiently waiting...

Sorry so long winded- look for the super pale, funny looking Americanos landing Feb. 7 and say hello!

Thank you
Katin and Don Keirstead
