I made reservations to stay at least 3 days in Vieques, but....the allure of Culebra is pulling me. So, I'm trying to spend 2 days in Culebra. BUT, I'm not sure if it's even possible to move b/w the islands.
Does that high-speed ferry still operate? The phone number is disconnected -- which is a bad sign. If it's still operating, does it run on weekdays? (especially Monday, Jan. 7th)
Are there flights? If so, how much would it cost to fly 2 people from Vieques to Culebra? I'm a student, so I can't exactly charter a private jet.
Or, are there locals who regularly take their boats between the islands -- and with whom I might hitch a ride for some not-too-expensive contribution?
I could visit Culebra either before or after Vieques...so I guess that I'm looking for a way b/w Culebra and Vieques on Mon. Jan 7th or Wed., Jan. 9th.
Any thoughts?
