We were just in Culebra for 2 nights with our daughters (7 and 4). The best food we had was the kabobs at Flamenco beach. My 4 y.o. liked the chicken so much that she asked for her own. That was a first! My husband had the swordfish and said it was very good. F.Y.I., the chicken is grilled and the fish is fried. We didn't try the pork - something for next time!
For dinners out, we ate at Mamacita's and Dinghy Dock. Both were good, neither was great. Eating out was expensive as well. For 3 adults and 2 kids (who share a kids meal), we spent at least $90, and only $20-25 of that was on drinks.
We all agreed that next time we will buy several kabobs before leaving Flamenco, take them back to the house, and eat them for dinner. At $2 - $3 per skewer, it'll definitely be cheaper!
Enjoy your trip. Culebra is absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to go back.
