I was under the impression that is was not operational. Now I just came across an article about desalination plants in PR in general and they claim the only one is in Culebra?!

With all the federal funding being used to "fix" it in the past couple years, I'm sure it should be working..

i work for a contractor that put in a bid in march...the work should begin on restoring it in the next few months...with future projects around the plant to come..

the future projects are municipal improvements..i cant think of them off the top of my head..but i'll get back to ya...mostly improvements..so don't worry

Don't worry...trust me...this won't hurt...it's good for you...check's in the mail...you're NOT fat...you're going to love this...

The people who come in to work on these projects are usually good people, and enjoy their time on Culebra...it's that we've heard this sort of thing just a few times before. So when you get a laugh from people who live here when you explain what you are doing, don't take it personally; it isn't. Just a little more entertainment (and hopefully not a protest adventure) for us who are so easily entertained.
